A recipe for a grilled radicchio salad with grilled plums, purple basil, fresh thyme, goat cheese, wild rice and a balsamic dressing. The perfect salad for fall and winter!

1 head radicchio 2 plums 1 C wild rice cooked 1 bunch basil  1-2 oz goat cheese Olive oil Aged balsamic Fresh thyme Salt and pepper

INGREDIENTS

Get your wild rice cooking. Follow the directions on the package since the cooking times can vary. You can also use white or brown rice if you like.

Preheat your grill and prep the radicchio and the plums. Sliced into thick disks and wedges. Coat in olive oil and season with salt.

Grill for about 1-3 mins per side. Just until they have some charr on them. To plate, sliced radicchio into bite sized pieces. Arranged with plums on a plate.

Sprinkle over the wild rice and add lots of goat cheese, basil, olive oil, a generous drizzle of aged balsamic. Finish with salt and fresh cracked pepper.
