Make perfectly crispy roasted chickpeas in the oven with this easy recipe. A sweet, spicy and crunchy snack flavored with brown sugar, cumin, cayenne and thyme.

The Chickpeas 15 oz chickpeas 2 tbsp olive oil The Spice Mix 2 tsp brown sugar 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper 1/8 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp fresh thyme 1/2 clove garlic

INGREDIENTS

Thoroughly drain and pat chickpeas dry with paper towels, removing any loose skins. Toss with olive oil and make sure to coat the well, you want the to "oven-fry".

Spread chickpeas on baking sheet in single layer and roast in the oven, tossing on pan every 10 minutes for even browning.

Once they're nice and crispy, remove them from the oven and toss the hot chickpeas with your spice mixture while still hot and eat!
