A recipe for delicious Italian sausage and pasta. Sausage is slowly cooked with tomatoes and tossed with rigatoni. This is a two ingredient pasta sauce and it's ready to eat in 30 minutes!

1 lb sausage - sweet or spicy 28 oz canned tomatoes - whole, crushed, pureed, whatever you like 1/2 lb rigatoni - or your pasta of choice Parmigiano Reggiano - grated

INGREDIENTS

Brown your sausage over medium heat. After your sausage is nicely browned, add in your tomatoes. If using whole canned tomatoes like I did, squeeze em to break them up a bit.

Let your sausage and tomatoes simmer for 20 minutes. Check for salt. I typically don’t need to add any since the sausage is usually salty enough. But you make the call here.

Once your sauce is done, pull out sausage and cut into smaller portions to serve. Toss the tomato sauce with your pasta, top with lots of grated parmesan cheese and eat up!
