Cilantro
Bright, fresh and a little citrusy, cilantro is the herb that makes tacos, salsas and bowls taste alive. Stir it into a cheesy, elote-inspired Mexican Street Corn Dip, or pile it onto tender Braised Chicken Tacos with pumpkin seed salsa and smoky Grilled Skirt Steak Fajitas. It brightens a bowl of vegetarian Pozole Verde and adds freshness to a crunchy Sesame Cabbage Salad and a Hummus Bowl with Spiced Ground Beef. Tip: don’t toss the stems. They’re tender and full of flavor, so chop them right along with the leaves. To keep a bunch fresh longer, trim the ends and store it in a glass of water in the fridge, loosely covered with a bag.
